Our experiences guide us. I watched kindness and compassion ease the suffering of those who had lost a loved one at a very early age. I too wanted to help people and believed my math skills would enable me to do that in finance and accounting. Then, I was appointed executor of my mother’s estate at 25. Seeing that my ultimate goals and purpose could not be achieved with what I was doing, I headed to law school in my mid-30s. My work is the culmination of the many gifts I have been blessed with, and one of my greatest life purposes is to share my gifts to help bring security and comfort to the people I meet.
